Wanted, a back copy of the Burwash Village broadsheet. I have had a request from a gentleman asking if anyone knows if the St Bartholomew’s Broadsheet was published in January 1940. Research in the village has drawn a blank, but if anyone has a copy and would be happy for the gentleman to see it, would they please contact me so that i can pass the information on. We thank you for your help.

The latest postal quiz came to an end on May 1, and after checking answers we discovered that we had six clever people with 100 correct. The names were put into a draw at the last Whist drive and Shirley Viney pulled the lucky winner, Dot & Buster Rowland of Hailsham. They have been sent their prize money. Thank you to everyone who takes part in these quizzes. The next one is due out in mid September, the subject will be something completely different.
