Bus services hit by the icy snap which covered East Sussex today.

The icy snap is taking its toll on the bus services operating out of Eastbourne.

Some services have been cancelled and others are running a revised route.

The latest information from the bus company is as follows:

Eastbourne services:

Routes 1/1A - running about every 20 minutes. Buses also cannot serve Lindfield Road southbound or Maywood Avenue (buses are returning to town via Brodrick Road and Decoy Drive). Buses are diverted via Victoria Drive instead of Green Street. Buses are now able to serve Sevenoaks Road, Kingfisher Drive and Langney Shops.

Eastbourne Loop - running about every 20 minutes, but buses will operate direct via Princes Road and not serve Beatty Road or Ramsay Way. Between ASDA and Willingdon Drove buses are able to run via Tanbridge Road, The Rising and Langney Shops. In addition buses are serving The Hydneye but not Winkney Farm.

Route 3 - normal service as far as Mead Street

Route 51 - only running to Heathfield

Routes 251/252 - Buses have started to run up to Tunbridge Wells. Route 252 is not able to serve Rotherfield and will stay on A257.

Route 99 - normal service

Route 54 - running as far as Hailsham. We are checking the rest of the route to Uckfield.

Route 55 - not currently running

Route 56 is now operating
