Businesses give time to children for fundraiser

On Monday January 25 Time 4 Children were presented with a cheque for £500 from Dizzydoos Events and Martha & Daisy’s Emporium, both from Burgess Hill.

Having organised many successful pamper events, Karen Taylor from Dizzydoos Events, decided to turn her hand to organising a Christmas grotto for charity.

Joining forces with the team from Martha & Daisy’s, Karen put together a spectacular Santa’s grotto, complete with sleigh from Selfridges that the children could have their photo taken in.

We saw over 300 children visit the grotto during December and all came out with the widest smiles on their faces! The children were given a gift and a ‘NICE’ certificate from Santa. The overall feedback from parents was hugely positive with many saying it was the best grotto they had ever been to.

Time 4 Children are hugely grateful for Karen’s support and we would like to thank her and the team at Martha & Daisy’s for organising, sponsoring and hosting this wonderful event. We would also like to thank the local companies that donated goods and services. Our thanks also go to Santa and the elves.

These funds will directly support Time 4 Children to help young people with emotional upset or behavioural problems, providing them with a listening ear and individual, non directive play sessions.
