A cabaret show featuring celebrity impersonator Bella Beserk raised £357 for Breast Cancer Care at the Con Club in Seaford.
The evening featured impersonations of Cher, Tina Turner, Marilyn Monroe, Julie Andrews, Dolly Parton and Britney Spears, as well as music and comedy, some adult humour, and a disco.
All profits from ticket sales went to the charity and over the last three years it has raised more than £1,500 for the charity.
Organiser Helen Frankish said: “We had a fantastic time at our third charity fundraiser on Saturday night and I would like to sincerely thank everyone not only for their support but for participating in a fabulous evening.
“We hope to make the raffle bigger and better next year so would be grateful for any raffle prizes from individuals or local businesses for next year.
“Congratulations are due to everyone as Saturday night’s fundraising means we have now topped over £1,500 with the three shows and I am so proud of everyone who has supported the shows over the years.”
Helen thanked everyone who supported the event, including friends and family, as well as the Brewers Fayre, Newhaven for a meal voucher, Alison Hall for the cake and hamper, Tony Judd and the Con Club staff for their assistance, and Ambers Florist in Seaford for help with the balloons, and people who donated raffle prizes.
She also thanked John and Bella for another ‘fandabbydosey’ production.
Helen is already planning another show for next year which will take place on Saturday December 7.
According to Helen, Bella’s act has developed quite a following in Seaford and the charity shows have been very well attended.
