Calf on the loose at Beddingham Roundabout

A calf running loose on the road was causing problems for motorists near Lewes this morning (Thursday, February 28).

Traffic was reportedly slow and the highway partially blocked at the Beddingham Roundabout, at its junction with the A27 and the A26.

Drivers were alerted to the incident with the animal just before 8am this morning.
