Its all been happening at the Church this last week. Rev Malcolm led all of the liturgies leading up to a terrific service on Easter Day. There was a short service each evening last week attended by a small but committed group of regulars. On Easter Day the church was packed and there was a great spirit of celebration topped off before people left, by Rev Malcolm’s home made wine, Easter eggs, both chocolate and boiled and dyed! Francis Catt took Rev Malcolm and Jean his wife by surprise by publicly thanking them both for their enormous contribution to our church.( Jean is the driving force behind the music in the church.) They were given a small gift each. There seems to be the idea amongst some villagers that the church is shut. Even though there is no vicar it is very much open and functioning very actively. There is a service each Sunday morning at 10.30am, a communion service led usually by Rev Malcolm. There is a family service on 20th April. Everyone is most welcome.
