Camber village voice

Thanks to Larri for standing in for me over the last 2 weeks writing The Voice for me whilst we had a family reunion and of course my daughter Catherines wedding it has been pretty amazing and I would also like to thank terry and the memorial hall committee for such a great venue, and would hope that this will encourage other couples to utilise the hall as it is great for family parties.

Camber Country is on September 16th at the Memorial Hall entertainment will be the popular duo Johny Neal & Pam Bailey so get your tickets from Terry or Pete tel numbers are

As we are now in September this is a good time to remind you that arrangements for the Harvest Festival are getting under way at the Camber church, Mary is doing a sterling job organising the cooking of shepherds pies and apple pies. There is provisions for vegetarians also, cider and soft drinks tea and coffee , A veritable feast and all home made so get the date in your diary.

The church service to celebrate will be held in the church on 30th September at 10.30 am followed by the harvest supper and auction of produce on Monday !st October I will give more details nearer the time but do put it in your diaries, Its a great fun evening.

The service on Sunday will be led by Rev Kay Burnett, It is a Parish Communion followed by a cuppa for those that wish to stay behind for a chit chat, It was great last Sunday to have a good number of holiday makers join us , they will be missed at the end of the season.

The Residents Association will be hosting the pensioners teas at the end of October possibly at The Castle but watch this space for further details. then contact Trish or Anne for tickets.
