However It is a great shame that some visitors with young children, after spending a day on the beach feel that it is appropriate to leave discarded disposable nappies under or around the ground area where they have parked their cars, this along with beer cans and other rubbish.

The mess that accumulates is compounded by the seagulls in their quest for something else to eat, not very nice,

I am sure most of us agree.

For those of us that have not seen the notice boards or read it in the Rye Observer the Hearing Bus is coming to Camber on August 25th and will be in The Camber Castle car park from 10.30am -3.30pm

The Hearing Resource Centre is a registered charity working in partnership with Adult Social Care to provide a no charge mobile information and advice service for deaf, deafened and hard of hearing people living in East Sussex.

The vehicle which is funded by the Big Lottery is equipped to offer equipment demonstrations, hearing screening tests plus a hearing aid maintainance and battery service and is suitable for wheelchair users for further information tel. 01323 722505(voice /text/fax

There was a lovely service at the church conducted by Rev Kay Burnett last Sunday, For those with a discerning ear the choir was heard to sing in 4 parts for the 1st time, Well done everyone.

This Sundays service will be conducted by Rev Dick, it’s a family service and its more informal, aimed to keep the children engaged. As usual a chat and a cup of tea afterwards for those that wish to have a chat.

It’s been a busy week in camber, with better weather, which in turn has made an increase in visitors, missing children, parking issues, and other related issues, also this week, we have had a mountain bike stolen from Camber Sands Leisure park, the owner is offering a £200 reward for information leading to the return of his cannondale mountain bike, also this week a handbag was apparently stolen from where a lady was sitting in a park, the bag contained mobile phones and iPad and other personal items, have you been offered any of these? Also recently items have been stolen from a parked vehicle in broomhill carpark, this car park is used heavily by kite surfers and other beach related activity participants, we urge anyone leaving items in there vehicles to lock them away out of sight or take them with them.
