CAMEL CAPERS

PUPILS and staff at Lewes Old Grammar School held a Moroccan day on Thursday last week to raise funds to bring a group of school children from that country to Lewes.

The children made their own Moroccan clothes, ate Moroccan-style food and even held a 'camel' race, won by George Collison.

The link with Tahannoute School dates to 1992 when LOG sixth formers went on a geography field study trip to the region.

Since then they have exchanged visits every two years.

Nearly 600 was raised.
