CAMILLA VISITS COUNTY TOWN

THE Duchess of Cornwall called in at Lewes on Friday during her first official visit to East Sussex.

She opened a set of new gates at Anne of Cleves House in Southover High Street and lunched in the museum there.

Then she crossed the town to open a new 250,000 science and arts centre at St Pancras RC Primary School.

Camilla spent a good hour meeting every one of the 107 pupils there.

They sang her the school song and presented her with box of biscuits they made themselves.

She in turn said she had a lovely time and would look forward to returning in due course.
