Camp now offers twice the fun

A children's summer activities camp has proved so popular it is doubling in size.

Pied Piper has been running day camps at Great Ballard School for ten years and this summer is opening a second camp at Oakwood School.

The camps, for youngsters aged between four and 12, mix high energy action sports such as swimming, go-karting, bouncy castle and softball with arts and crafts, computer games and den building, rounding the week off with a mini Olympics and talent show.

Don Turnbull, who runs the camps with his wife Victoria, said: 'No matter how good the facilities we know it is the staff that make the camps special. Our staff are handpicked from teachers, colleges and universities and all have the maturity, experience and enthusiasm to get on with the children and give them a fun time.'

This summer's camps are being held at Great Ballard over four separate weeks starting on July 30 and at Oakwood over three separate weeks starting July 23.
