Inside the property was a mature cannabis farm including more than 30 plants and cultivation equipment.

Three men aged 44, 41 and 25, from Bognor Regis, and a 51-year-old woman from the town, were arrested on suspicion of cultivation of cannabis.

They were questioned before being released on bail until December 18 while officers carry out further inquiries.

Sergeant Chris Pipkin, from the town’s neighbourhood policing team, said “The warrant sends a clear message that drug production and supply will not be tolerated by us or the local community.

“We obtained a warrant from the courts based on intelligence received from the community as well as some excellent work carried out by my officers.

“We continue to work hard to disrupt drug production and supply in the area.

“We are always keen to hear from anyone who has information about drug use, supply or production and would urge people to tell us what they know.”

Anyone with information about drug-dealing or drug production should call Sussex Police on 101 or email [email protected].
