Capture essence ofRye in photographfor new calendar

If so you could find your image appearing on a calendar which will celebrate the beauty of the area.

As part of their English Tourism Week celebrations Rye Tourist Information Centre has launched its fourth annual photographic competition.

Building on the success of the previous three years, they are looking for stunning images of the town and surrounding areas that truly captivate the essence of the Rye area.

TIC Manager Tracey Young said: “We are looking for original images that showcase the changing seasons in Rye and capture what the area means to you.”

The competition is open to all ages and levels of ability; however entries are limited to three images per person.

The twelve winning photographs will be featured in a 2015 Calendar “Rye and Beyond”.

To enter the competition simply pick up an entry form from Rye Tourist Information Centre at Lion Street, Rye. Telephone: 01797 229049.

The closing date for entries is Saturday May 31. The centre is open seven days a week from 10am - 5pm.
