Car catches fire in Woodingdean

The car was parked in Langley Crescent and East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service said they attended the scene and prevented escalation of the situation.

The spokesperson also said one hose reel and two breathing apparatus were used.

Damage was seen on the road surface following the blaze and nobody was injured, according to the spokesperson.

A spokesperson from Sussex Police said, “We were made aware of the fire by East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service but were not requested to attend.”
