Car companies £3k chequewell extend Trust's service

The Sara Lee Trust received donations totalling £3,000 which will offer extended hours service for cancer patients.

The money, donated by the Toyota Charitable Trust and Enterprise Rent-A-Car Foundation Fund, was secured by the St Leonards Motors Group

The Sara Lee Trust CEO, Dan Redsull and lead therapist Kerry Evans said they were ‘absolutely delighted’ to receive the donations on behalf of the charity. Dan said: “The Sara Lee Trust would like to convey sincere thanks to the St Leonards Motors Group for helping us to access this funding and also for their wonderful support of the charity, having raised just under £7,000 for the Trust this financial year.”

“This new funding will enable the Trust to support more local people, and provide extra evening and weekend support to patients, their families and carers.”

Kerry added: “Thanks to the generosity of the Toyota Group and Enterprise, the Trust is now able to support more people across Hastings and Rother, particularly those who are housebound or at the end of life.”

The Sara Lee Trust supports local people living with cancer and other life threatening conditions (and their loved ones) and is almost entirely reliant on the support of the local community and local businesses to fund their services. For more information or to donate visit: www.saraleetrust.org
