Car crash in Southwick

FIREFIGHTERS from Shoreham were called to a crash on Manor Hall Road, Southwick, on Sunday, December 8.

Crews were called to the scene shortly before 4pm when a car lost control hitting a parked car, telegraph pole and bus stop.

"No persons were injured or trapped and the scene was made safe by the fire service and a cordon put up around the damaged telegraph pole," said watch commander Andrew Corke.

Firefighters spread two cubic metres sand to soak up oil before leaving the scene to the police.
