Car crash outside Ninfield Memorial Hall

FIREFIGHTERS cut the passenger door off a Renault Megane soft-top to enable paramedics to free a young woman after a two-car collision.

The crash occurred shortly before 11am on Wednesday on Bexhill Road by the entrance to Ninfield Memorial Hall.

Traffic on the busy A269 was diverted via Lower Street while the emergency services, which also included a second fire appliance from Hastings, dealt with the incident.
