Car dealership to drive up vital funds

Horsham's family run Skoda dealership, Station Garage, will be hosting a special fundraising event on Saturday May 14 to raise vital funds for their charity of the year SERV Sussex.

From 11am to 4pm the Station Garage team will be situated on the forum outside TK Maxx in Horsham town centre.

Not only will they be offering face painting where little shoppers can be transformed into their favourite characters and heroes, Station Garage will also be offering delicious SKODA themed treats to sell throughout the day to raise money for its charity of the year.

Formed in 1981, the charity aims to deliver blood, blood products and other urgent medical supplies for NHS Hospital’s across Sussex.

Not only are SERV Sussex motorcyclists all volunteers, they’re also required to be on call from 7pm until 6am 365 days a year.

James Thorpe, Dealer Principal at Station Garage, commented: “As a team we decided to continue our fundraising efforts with SERV Sussex this year, the charity provides a vital service for our county and helps to save hundreds of lives each year.

“We aim to raise as much as possible in our first charity event at The Forum and encourage all of the local residents to pop down and get involved.”
