The popular ladies-only event which raises money so that Crawley’s St Catherine’s Hospice can support people with life-limiting illnesses starts at 10.30pm.

Participants can samba their way around the seven, 13, or new 20-mile route, with the evening expected to be packed with Brazilian entertainment and carnival costumes, all to create an energetic atmosphere.

Louise Brown, events fundraiser at St Catherine’s Hospice, said: “Our Midnight Walk is one of the key events in our year, where local women come together to have fun, whilst raising vital funds to help us support local people with a life-limiting illness.

“We are really excited about our new 20 mile route this year and now with the choice of three routes, there is a suitable distance for everyone.

“We need to raise more than £15,000 every single day in voluntary income to help us to be there when we’re needed most.”

Faz Fazeli, managing director at Capital IFX, who are sponsoring this year’s Midnight Walk, said: “We couldn’t be happier to support St Catherine’s Hospice by sponsoring this year’s Midnight Walk.
