Carol Concert at Little Common Community Centre

LITTLE Common was lit up for the festive season at a switch-on ceremony led by Town Mayor Cllr Patrick Douart on Sunday.

Funded by the Little Common Business Association, the lights help to give the village community its Christmas atmosphere for the next month.

The focal point of the lights is the Christmas tree on the village roundabout. And it was from here the turn-on took place, watched by visitors gathered at the roadside.

The crowd then moved on to the village community centre for a free carol-singing service.

The event was led by Father Chris Spain of St Martha's Church. Attractions also included refreshments and a Santa's grotto.
