Case dismissed after dog killed in neighbour's garden

Neville Hill said he was 'relieved' the case was over, despite still receiving some threatening calls and emails.

The father-of-three said: "It has been a very distressing year. The court has made its decision, commonsense has prevailed. All three magistrates said I acted in a reasoned manner and I hope it is all over with now.

"I just wish none of this had happened in the first place and that she had been a responsible dog owner."
