Catsfield tohost Ride and Walk

St Michaels Hospice Riding Club held their annual Walk and Ride on Sunday 23rd May at Wilton House on the Normanhurst estate in Catsfield.
The event in beautiful conditions was opened by the Mayor of Battle Mr David Hussey and raised for the hospice £1200. — St Michaels Hospice Riding Club held their annual Walk and Ride on Sunday 23rd May at Wilton House on the Normanhurst estate in Catsfield. The event in beautiful conditions was opened by the Mayor of Battle Mr David Hussey and raised for the hospice £1200.

The event is organised by the St Michael’s Hospice Riding Club and allows participants to ride horses or walk through the beautiful Normanhurst Estate in Catsfield, an area that is usually not open to the public.

The estate boasts impressive formal ponds, woodlands and wide open spaces, making it the perfect location for the Ride and Walk event.

The St Michael’s Hospice Riding Club is a group of devoted volunteers who organise popular events all year round to raise money for St Michael’s Hospice. In 2014 they raised an incredible £7,700 for the Hospice.

Riders and walkers can start their walk between 9.30-12pm, at their leisure.

Tickets for riders are £15 in advance if bought before Wednesday May 13 or £20 on the day. Walkers, including dogs, are £5.
