CCTV released of Ferring burglary suspect

DETECTIVES are asking for help in identifying the man believed to be involved in a burglary in Ferring.

A ground floor flat in Ferring Street, Ferring, was broken into overnight on November 12 and a wallet was stolen.

Money was withdrawn from an account from one of the cards and CCTV above is image of a man at the time of the withdrawal who could be connected.

Detective Constable Jon Woolley said: “These images are taken outside the Tesco Express, Rectory Road, Broadwater, Worthing on the morning of Thursday, November 13. The man is wearing a distinctive purple ‘NY’ baseball cap, an olive green three-quarter length jacket, black jogging bottoms and grey and black Nike trainers.

“Anyone who recognises him is asked to contact police on [email protected] or 101 quoting serial 460 of 12/11. Alternatively contact the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
