After that will be a music charity event - "Acoustic Night" in aid of HCPT The Pilgrimage Trust.

The evening's entertainment is to be provided by a number of local musicans who have offered to perform for free - Tonight We Fly, Connor Rafferty, Elephant & Castle, and Aiden Tigwell. They will be playing from 7pm onwards.

Staff member Alice Veal has organised the charity gig to raise money to support her work as a volunteer taking a group of disabled children on a trip to Lourdes in the South of France.

Entry is free and all donations will be greatly appreciated.

If that wasn't enough, No 48 has just finished its latest childrens' arts competition, which was judged on Shrove Tuesday.

This was a cupcake competition and the winning design was drawn by five year old Terri-Anne Laing, from Milton Keynes, who was in Bexhill for a family visit.

Owner Andy Rimmer commented: "Her glittery design stood out in another close competition with nearly sixty entries."
