Record Store Day will be held at Union Music Store in Lewes on Saturday April 18 from 8am to celebrate independent music retailers.
The international event is designed to get people back into their local record shops and feature limited edition vinyl-only records which are all released on April 18.
Releases cannot be sold online for a week after the day.
A spokesperson for Union Music Store said: “It’s also become something of a tradition to have live music in-stores on Record Store Day. We will be having four acts perform throughout the day.
“We open at 8am on Record Store Day, and there’s always a queue of people from the early hours - you can’t pre-order any of the official releases, so you just have to get there early to try to ensure you get what you’re after.
“Union also has a record label, and for the first time we’re releasing our own official RSD release. Police Dog Hogan’s ‘Moutarde!’ EP is on 10 inch yellow vinyl in a full colour sleeve.”
From 12.30pm shoppers can see Danny & The Champions of The World (solo), Police Dog Hogan, Jake Isaac and the Dreaming Spires.
There will also be special offers at the store in Lansdown Place.
