Celebrating magic of books

Everyone at a Bognor Regis school followed the Yellow Brick Road to a special dressing up day.

Children and staff at Nyewood CE Infant School celebrated the end of their story magic week by becoming a character from the Wizard of Oz.

The appearance of the likes of Dorothy, the Tin Man and the Munchkins at the Brent Road site came after a week of lessons and activities focused on the ever-popular story.

Each class designed and created a character which was displayed in the school hall.

This followed the school's much enjoyed visit to the Christmas production, The Wonderful World of Oz, at the Alexandra Theatre.
