Celebration of individuality at the Towers

PUPILS at The Towers Convent School, Upper Beeding, performed Honk, the musical version of the tale of the ugly duckling, for their end-of-term production.

Towers headmistress Carole Baker said: "British songwriting duo Stiles and Drew were responsible for the lyrics and music of this witty, at times poignant story, with its ever-relevant theme of inclusion and celebration of being different.

"It urges the audience to look beyond the surface image to an inner beauty within.

"It was a very colourful production with a cast of 96 girls and played to packed audiences every day."
