DUE to unforeseen circumstances, Kalamus are unable to perform at Hellingly church on September 12 as advertised in Hailsham Arts Festival programme.
Festival organisers are delighted to announce that the lively and entrancing African band ‘Bakk Lamp Fall’ will perform at the festival instead of Kalamus.
The band which includes a wide range of percussion and vocals are accomplished international performers.
Their musical roots are from Senegal, and they will be playing a mixture of desert blues, jazz and traditional chants at the popular arts festival in Hailsham.
Jenny West, Hailsham Arts Festival director, was excited about Bakk Lamp Fall performing at the event.
She said: “Varying from toe tapping African beats to haunting spiritual chants, the evening will be a musical delight, enhanced by the historic setting of Hellingly church.”
Tickets can be bought from Gallery North, 70 High Street, Hailsham. Open 11am to 3pm, Tuesday to Saturday or from Hellingly church.
Any booking queries telephone Jenny West on 01323 848216.
