Charity belly dancing show

A CHARITY belly dancing show, held at the High Beech Hotel and performed by Bexhill's, 'Sheik's Delight' belly dancing group, has raised over £700 for the NSPCC charity.

The thirteen girls and ladies of the group - aged between ten and sixty three years of age - adorned in dazzling Egyptian costumes, enthralled the audience by performing a total of twenty different dances throughout the evening; expertly strutting their stuff to a mix of up-tempo music, including a modern fusion of Greek & Spanish along with the more a traditional.

Teacher and choreographer of the group, Faezah Bird, who is a graduate of the Iran Academy of Dance, Music & Art, said she was delighted that so many people bought tickets to support the performance and felt they did "really well" to raise such a large amount for the NSPCC.
