Ladies donated ten items and paid a small entry fee of £3. They then had the opportunity to select ten items free of charge to take home. A raffle included a fabulous homemade chocolate cake. A spokesperson for St Michael’s Hospice said: “It was a great success and raised £70 to be shared between St Michael’s Hospice and Cancer Research. There was lots of high quality ladieswear, menswear, children’s clothes and accessories; a lovely community event and evening out with friends.” Unswoped clothes were donated to the Hospice.
