Charity set to hold sponsored sleep out

WORTHING Churches Homeless Projects is encouraging people to take part in its annual sponsored sleep out.

The event, held in Broadwater CofE School’s playground, aims to give a taste of what life is like for those living on the streets.

Rachel Blair, the charity’s community fundraiser, said: “Previous participants have commented that the night has been a really positive experience for them.”

The charity has supported more than 1,000 people in the last six months.
