Worthing Raiders head coach, Jody Levett said: “The idea initially came from the admin girls who thought it would be a good way to get a bit of publicity for the club.

“It didn’t take much persuading for the players to queue up and have their photos taken which was great.

“This wasn’t just a Raiders thing. We pretty much invited the whole club to get involved, well apart from the veterans. That might have been a bit too far.

“The players were given the freedom to choose how their photograph was taken so we have Charlie on his moped and a few of the kickers taking place kicks.

“We just hope that it is a positive thing and people get behind it and support us.

“We want to get involved with the community and we thought this was a fun way to do it, as well as supporting some worthwhile causes along the way.”

The calendars have been priced at £9 each and can be purchased at the Worthing Raiders home game at 3pm on Saturday.
