Cheeky Worthing toddler locks mum out of house

A CHEEKY toddler locked its mother out of her house leaving her stranded on a balcony.

At about 2pm today (Thursday, March 25), a crew from Worthing Fire Station was called to the Downview Road property to get the mother back inside her home.

Crew Commander Darren Wickings said: "We had to use small tools to get inside the property and reassure the little girl while we unlocked the balcony door and allowed the mother back inside her house.

"The toddler was fine and if she was in any danger we would have used a more urgent way of getting inside the property."
