Cheque presentation for Hayley Okines

CASH raised at a comedy night for the residents of a block of retirement flats will help progeria sufferer Hayley Okines continue her treatment in the USA.

Brett McLean was on hand to present a cheque for 180 to the 11-year-old Sidley Community Primary School pupil who suffers from the very rare premature ageing disease.

The money was raised at the recent comedy night held at Auckland House in Wrestwood Road.
