Chichester college graduate sets up new Bognor salon

A former Chichester College student has set up an organic hair salon in Bognor and is employing students from the college.

Jane Parker, who studied hairdressing at Chichester College and is qualified at level 1, 2 and 3, opened The Hair Sanctuary in Rose Green on June 25.

Opening her business at a time of economic challenges is hard but she is upbeat and confident her unique product will deliver customer satisfaction.

Jane said: “It’s really exciting to be able to offer a new organic hair service in the Bognor Regis area. We will cater for all ages, delivering first-class customer service in a fun and friendly environment.

“We have an Aston Martin styling chair for our younger clients, contemporary cutting, colouring and styling for teens and younger adults through to more traditional classic shampoos, sets and perms for our older clientele. All our customers will be equally important to us and we look forward to seeing them.”

Three other ex-Chichester College hairdressing students and two college apprentices are employed at The Hair Sanctuary.

The salon is committed to offering a natural hairdressing experience so it will offer colours, treatments and styling that are as organic and eco-friendly as possible and totally cruelty-free, with products produced locally in the New Forest by Herb UK.
