Chichester College students make history with Ideal Homes Show debut

For the first time in the history of the Ideal Home Show the homes have been designed by students - and a talented group from Chichester College have been given the daunting but exciting task.

The show, at the Olympia London, opens tomorrow, Friday, and around 250,000 visitors will see the talented students’ interior designs.

They are the focal point of the famous show and include two fully built houses - a 21st Century thatched cottage and a three-storey apartment building - for visitors to explore, with the Chichester College students designing the rooms in each.

The design students have been working flat out to finish the many products that will feature, including furniture and wallpaper, in time for the show’s opening.
