“The gallery has increased in size which means we are able to showcase so many more artists than we did previously.

“I am so proud of what we have done and are thrilled to be able to offer something like this in Chichester.”

The gallery officially opened on Saturday (April 9) with a champagne reception.

She added: “There were hundreds of people here, we let all our clients know about it and they cleared me out, we sold so many pieces.

“It was a humongous success.”

Featuring a whole host of different artists on its walls there is something for every taste from well known work by Jack Vettriano, to pieces by Sherree Valentine Daines who has painted for the Beckhams and is official artist for Royal Ascot, and pieces by Jen Allen.

“I pick what we have here and we have a number of original pieces as well as prints,” she explained. “I want it to be affordable and accessible to everyone so we have pieces for £22,000 but then others for £300.”

Inside the gallery is light and airy, something which was key to Siobhan.

“I want it to be welcoming when people step through the door,” she said. “There is a bit of a stigma with some galleries, but you don’t have to be a millionaire to shop here.

“We don’t follow people around and let them have a look in their own time.”With more space Siobhan is also keen to hold more events at the gallery featuring artists, and also work more with other local businesses.
