Sullivans Yard is situated near Donnington, by the A27 near Stockbridge Roundabout.

The A27 between Fisbourne Roundabout and Stockbridge Roundabout was closed because of the smoke coming from the fire, but it was reopened to traffic at 3am this morning (Saturday 10).

A spokesperson for West Sussex Fire and Rescue Service, said the tyre fire covered an area of 10 metres by 20 metres.

Firefighters from Chichester, Bognor, Emsworth and Havant were called to the scene to tackle the blaze.

No one is believed to have been hurt in the fire.

In 2010, the same site had two fires in less than 24 hours of each other, one of which was believed to be arson.
