CHILD IN SERIOUS CONDITION

A seven-year-old boy who received serious injuries in a crash at Polegate yesterday is now in hospital in London.

He was transferred after initially being taken to the Eastbourne District General Hospital after the crash at about 11.15am.

He is in a serious but stable condition.

A Toyota Yaris being driven by a 71-year-old woman from Bexhill was in collision with a 35-year-old woman and her son, who were pedestrians.

The mum was taken to the Eastbourne District General Hospital with serious leg injuries.
