Chimney fire in Angmering

FIREFIGHTERS were at a blaze in Angmering for more than an hour after a chimney caught light.

Fire engines from East Preston, Littlehampton and Worthing were called to the scene of the fire in West Drive, Angmering, at around 6.10pm on Wednesday, March 19.

There were a range of fire engines called to the scene, and chimney equipment, an aerial ladder platform and three hose reels were used to put out the blaze at the house in Angmering.

In total, firefighters spent just over an hour at the scene, leaving at 7.19pm.
