Chimney fire in Beckley

Firefighters extinguished a fire in a chimney in Beckley yesterday afternoon (Tuesday, May 31).

One East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service crews from Rye were sent to the blaze on Whitebread Lane at around 1.45pm.

The crew used one hose reel jet and a short triple extension ladder to tackle the fire.
