Chimney fires break out in Hailsham and Crowborough

FIRE FIGHTERS have been called to chimney fires in Hailsham and Crowborough this weekend.

East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service was called to a chimney fire in White Dyke Road on Saturday (February 11) at 8.56pm.

The crew were on the scene until 10.08pm and no-one was injured.

Meanwhile in Crowborough on Sunday, firefighters were called out to a chimney fire in Burnt Oak on Sunday (February 12) at 6.05pm.

It took the crew less than half an hour to get the situation under control.
