Chocoholics raise over £2,000 for charity

IT'S OFFICIAL, there are well over 2,800 chocoholics in Bexhill - according to Bexhill Lions club following their Giant Easter Egg draws which were held in local business establishments throughout Bexhill recently.

Speaking on behalf of the Lions, fund-raiser Avril Earnshaw said they had, had a good response to their annual draws and raised over 2000 for charity in the process.

Avril said: "We know there are well over two thousand eight hundred chocoholics in Bexhill because that's the number who entered the Lions' Giant Easter egg draws that were held throughout the town."

She added: "We'd like to thank all who entered and special thanks to the pubs, clubs, restaurants, shops and offices who gave magnificent support by running the Egg draws. Congratulations to the lucky forty two who each won a Giant Easter egg and better luck next year to those less successful."

The profit from the draws has been added to the Bexhill Lions Charity

Fund and will be used to support many local worthy causes, along with special initiatives by Lions Club International.
