Choir’s appeal for piano

Hastings Philharmonic Choir is urgently seeking a piano for its upcoming concert.

The choir will be performing the magnificent Carmina Burana, by Carl Off on April 11 at St Mary-in-the-Castle in Pelham Crescent.

But in order to do justice to this piece of exciting music, the choir wants to use an additional piano for the performance.

Ideally the choir is looking for the loan of a Yamaha 5’6” Grand Piano, or similar, to complement its partner instrument.

In return the group will be delighted to award Benefactor Class membership of the Hastings Philharmonic Choir which carries a number of privileges including two free concert tickets.

The choir will arrange transport of the piano in due course.

If anyone can help or know of someone else who could provide the instrument they can contact Judy Appleyard on 01424 440044.
