Christmas band concert for Steyning Museum

The popular Southdown Concert Band will be performing a programme of music for Christmas.

The concert is at Steyning Grammar School’s Drama Hall on Sunday at 2pm.

This is a perfect start to the festive season for the whole family and the ticket price includes tea or coffee and a mince pie.

The Christmas concert is being held in aid of Steyning Museum.

Southdown Concert Band has a passion for music and upholds the true spirit of the concert band. The music making is an enjoyable experience for musicians and audiences alike.

Band members come from all over the county - some are involved in music professionally, as school teachers or as instrument tutors, others play for local community or town bands and enjoy the challenge of performing to a high level.

The band has recently appointed an exciting new musical director, Ross Hunt, who brings with him wide experience of working with bands all over the world.

Tickets are £7.50 adults and £3 under-16s, available at Steyning Museum, Church Street, and Steyning Bookshop, High Street, in advance or on the door.

The band will also be giving a Christmas performance at Worthing Tabernacle on Sunday, December 18.
