There was entertainment from a Juggling stilt walker, fire breathers/eaters and the return of the favourite majestical Ice Fairy, all sponsored by Toytown, Deans Place, Reid Briggs, Housemartins and JXP Consultancy.
A town council spokesman said: “We would also like to thank Sussex Events for their professional service and their continued efforts in making this year’s event run smoothly. And Seahaven FM made such a wonderful part of our team with public announcements, live broadcast and interviews throughout the day.The Lantern Parade was a wonderful experience for the families and children who took part but also for the visitors to the event who were able to experience something new for 2014. Thanks to Seaford Rotary and Seaford and Newhaven Roundtable who transported Santa, his sleigh and his grotto, and finishing off the event with the switching on of the town centre lights.”
The winners of the Best Dressed Window Competition was Premier Travel in first place, Foam and Fabric in second and Wynnes in third.
The event was sponsored by Seaford Head School and Sixth Form Centre,
