Church in Goring receives high praise from travel site
A CHURCH has received a certificate of excellence from travel website Tripadvisor for its ‘outstanding’ reviews.
English Martyrs Catholic Church, in Goring Way, Goring, received the prestigious award thanks largely to its impressive ceiling, which is a hand painted replica of the ceiling found in the Sistine Chapel in Rome.
Parish secretary Anne Niven said: “It came as a total surprise and we are absolutely delighted.”
