Church welcomes new minister

A special service was held to mark the arrival of Rev Andie Camper to the Westgate Unitarian Chapel in the High Street, Lewes.

Present was Father Christopher Channer of the Parish Church of St Michael in Lewes along with represenatives from Christ Church, Prince Edwards Road, and Lewes Quakers.

Rev Camper said: 'I hope that such a welcome may continue to greet me as I meet more of the people in the Lewes area.

'Many will be familiar with our building that is used by many organisations, Unitarians believe everyone has the right to seek truth and meaning for themselves.

'As a community we meet in love to share such things from all or no faith backgrounds.

'My sincere thanks go to all who were able to bring their greetings as I take on responsibility for such love and care to one another in Lewes.'
