The popular John Lawson’s Circus will be making its annual stop-off in the town as part of its nationwide tour.

The company, which this year is marking its 41st anniversary of entertaining communities up and down the land, has a packed schedule of performances.

Shows are on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

All the action will take place in the big top, which will be erected on The Green, near Harbour Park.

Visitors can expect the usual thrills and spills as well as plenty of family-friendly fun.

Tomorrow’s shows take place at 4.30pm and 7.30pm, with Saturday’s being earlier, at 2pm and 5pm. The final show on Sunday will be at 2pm.
