The group, which is in its first year, will meet up at the Clock Tower on the seafront for the rally.

Keith Robinson, of Bexhill Classic Car Club, said: "It's all about raising the profile of the Irvine Unit.

"We feel that it's a bit undervalued. We know a lot of people who have been in there and we find people don't really know about it."

Bexhill Classic Car Association has supported the Irvine Unit ever since the group was formed nearly three years ago, with 600 raised last year through a series of tombolas.

The Irvine Unit provides rehabilitation care for elderly patients.
